BEA is the best pneumatic staple gun by far.

Regarding upholstery classes we are starting by end of the March.
Please let me know if you are interested and do you have any preferences what you would like to learn.

Thanks

Hello! Any recommendations for an Oak Park area upholsterer for a chair that too complicated for my "stretch and staple" efforts? Thank you.

I'll contribute a tip for those tips - in Lincolnwood, near Pratt/Lincoln/Crawford intersection, there is a upholstery/drape remnant fabric store with a large price-worthy selection of fabrics, with no minimum yardage. Bought fabric there several years ago for far less than list-price.

Thanks for posting my chair, Katherine! I think the main part about learning upholstery is where to get your hands on an industrial strength stapler - the rest is easy.

Thanks for this post Kat! A great skill to learn. I have a chair and fabric, I've just been saving for the upholstery, but now I think I may take a class instead.
