Vintage Remix: Clipboards
Clipboards, originally uploaded by hownowdesign.
Abbey of the blog Aesthetic Outburst knows how to use something vintage for something other than its intended purpose. I especially love what she does with clipboards.
Clipboards can form a rotating gallery for small prints and ephemera. Or, lined up in an entryway or mud room, they form a sleek bulletin board for all those printed items you’re not supposed to forget on your way out the door.
You can hang them inside a kitchen cupboard to trap recipes or grocery lists. You could even use them to hold scarves or other accessories you enjoy wearing and displaying.
The best thing: you can score these at estate sales for under a dollar.
Anyone have any other suggestions for tricking out a vintage clipboard?
