Vintage Remix: Typewriter Table

I love creative re-purposing of outmoded furniture and housewares. Typewriter tables are easily found in thrift stores, on curbs and alleys, and at estate sales. Once used in offices at the side of the secretary’s desk for easy access to bulky word processors, in the age of portable computers they’ve become obsolete. Or have they? I think they’re perfect for:

• Extra surface space in a cramped kitchen
• A small workstation in a bedroom
• Nightstands
• Plant stands
• Portable examination table for small animals
