Wednesday Craigslist Roundup: Madison
Poppy asked me to stage a Madison roundup in preparation for her visit next week. So here’s some awesome furniture from the Wisconsin capitol and some advice for picking it all up in one day.

Is it weird that I think $400 is an outrageous price to ask for on Craigslist? I feel like that’s what an antique store would charge or maybe someone on ebay!
It depends on the seller and/or the piece. I mean, if they can find a buyer… I feel like that chair is pretty unique, too. So if it’s just what you’re looking for, it’s a steal at $400. DWR would charge $2400 for that chair.

That cocktail bar set is awesome – I’ve seen it on the Madison craigslist before at a higher price (they didn’t lower it enough!). I love the bookcase/organizer piece as well… I only wish it was around when I was looking for furniture recently!
